VitaFlow Liberty^® stood out from tens of thousands of projects and won the silver award in the 2021-2022 Italian A’Design Award Design Grand Prix . This is another international design award won by VitaFlow Liberty^® after the German Red Dot Design Award in 2022.

Recently, 2021-2022 Italian A' Design Award Design Grand Prix announced the list of winners. VitaFlow Liberty^® Transcatheter Aortic Valve and Retrievable Delivery System (hereinafter referred to as " VitaFlow Liberty^®") of MicroPort^® CardioFlow stood out from tens of thousands of projects and won the silver prize. This is another international design award won by VitaFlow Liberty^® after the German Red Dot Design Award in 2022. Italian A' Design Award (hereinafter referred to as "A 'Design Award") is one of the largest and most recognized design awards in the world. Up to now, the A' Design Award has become a leading, practical, forward-looking and experimental international professional design competition, and it is also recognized as an international major design competition by ICOGRADA, the International Federation of Graphic Design Associations, and BEDA, the European Design Association, and is known as the "Oscar in the design field".

All the entries of the A' Design Award are fairly and strictly reviewed by a jury composed of internationally influential well-known scholars, famous media members, creative design professionals and experienced entrepreneurs. Thousands of entries from all over the world participate in the competition.every year. In 2022, more than 40,000 entries were submitted for the A' Design Award, which came from more than 180 countries and regions and 110 different design fields. The award marks that the international jury once again highly affirmed the innovative design of VitaFlow Liberty^® and the brand of MicroPort^® CardioFlow.

VitaFlow Liberty^® is the world’s only electric retrievable transcatheter aortic valve system, offering outstanding stability during procedure and hemodynamics post-procedure that will improve the quality of life for patients with aortic valve disease. It inherits the advantages of the VitaFlow^® in terms of valve design, featuring a hybrid density self-expanding stent, bovine pericardial leaflets, and a high double-layer PET skirt design. This design offers robust radial force, improved coaxiality during deployment, and effectively reduces the incidence of perivalvular leakage post-procedure. Moreover, its breakthrough upgraded delivery system incorporates a unique and innovative double-reinforced spiral structure that ensures rapid, stable, and precise release and retrieval. This system also provides flexibility, allowing for 360-degree bending of the valve segment.

At present, VitaFlow Liberty^® Transcatheter Aortic Valve and Retrievable Delivery System has steadily advanced on the road of internationalization. Since the first overseas clinical implantation of VitaFlow^® in Argentina in August, 2021, VitaFlow Liberty^® was successfully registered in Argentina in December of the same year. As the only TAVI product independently developed by China to carry out clinical trials in Europe, VitaFlow Liberty^® also formally submitted an application for CE registration, which took a more steady step towards globalization.
